Christian and Youth Education

• Sunday School meets from 9:00 - 9:45 September - May
  We meet in the Fellowship Hall for "The Opening" with Pastor for an introduction to the day, music, and prayer. Parents are welcome to join us!
  Following "The Opening" classes then split up throughout the building:
  • Pre K/K meets in the Fellowship Hall.
  • 1-3 Grades meets in the Fellowship Hall
  • 4-6 Grade meets in the Luther Room
  • 7-8 Grade meets in the Library
  • Sr. High Youth meet in the Council Room
  • Adult Forum meets in the Fellowship Hall.
• Dragonslayers (Sunday School children and families Grades 1-6) meet several times during the year for fun, fellowship, and service opportunities.
• Confirmation Classes (Grades 7-9) meet Wednesday Evening 7:00-8:00 throughout the year. We are on "break" between Thanksgiving and New Year’s, and resume class in January. Confirmands participate in Lenten Midweek services, service projects, social gatherings, and Sunday Morning are active in worship as acolytes, and their 7-8 Grade class in the Library. The rite of Confirmation is held in the Fall for our 9th graders during worship. 9th Graders utilize the fall to become part of the Sr. High Youth Group and Sr. High Class Sunday Mornings.
• Sr. High Youth Group (Grades 9-12) is a ministry centered in sharing our Christian faith through relationship building, fun, fellowship, learning and service projects throughout the year. Our year includes participation in the New England Synod Youth Gathering at Hammonasset State Park in Madison, CT each September, a Ski Trip, Youth Sunday, participation in helping at the Gillespie Center and other activities. Parents are highly involved and help in the planning.
